I’m honestly not sure why this place is rated so highly. Almost everything we ordered had a very strong pork smell, and not in a normal or appetizing way. Pork Soup XLB - This had too much soup, to the point that each dumpling just sank (you can clearly see it in the photos). A well made one is supposed to sit upright and not bottom heavy. Overall, I didn’t think it was better than Din Tai Fung or Seven Grams. It had too much soup, and the strong pork smell really stood out. Pan-Fried dumplings - These were ok, but nowhere near the best I’ve had in SoCal. Crab XLB - This was probably the biggest letdown. It was the first time I’ve had crab soup dumplings where the pork smell completely overpowered the crab. I could barely taste any crab at all. The crab roe noodles were also underwhelming. Compared to versions I’ve had in Shanghai, these were much less flavorful, and there wasn’t enough crab roe to coat all the noodles. Glutinous shumai - Was acceptable, but nothing memorable. Egg pancake with ham sausage - Skip. Wasn't worth the calories. Service was okay, but a little slow.

Walked in here randomly after seeing it was very busy early in the morning. So glad we did. Restaurant and bathroom are clean. Open decor with good natural light. Serve shanghai dim sum, egg sandwiches, noodle soup. Star for me was the noodle soup. The noodles were perfectly cooked and brought me back to China. Prices were fair You order from the table via QR core and the food comes quickly. Easy parking around the area. Will definitely be back

I had a great experience at Auntie Qiu Kitchen. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious and full of flavor—you can really tell the food is made fresh and with care. The curry soup wontons were better than I expected—super flavorful and comforting. The soup dumplings honestly shocked me with how much broth was inside, in the best way. The string beans were perfectly cooked too, nice and crispy just the way I like them. The only thing that caught me off guard was the lotus root with sticky rice—it turned out to be sweet when I was expecting something more savory. Not bad, just not what I anticipated. Overall, every dish really hit the mark and I’d definitely come back to try more!

Had a lunch there, ordered Shepherds Purse and Pork Wonton Soup (10pcs) $12.95, Pork Soup Dumpling (8pcs) $11.95, Pan-fried Pork Bun (4pc) $6.5. First time there, loved all 3 dishes. Both Pork soup dumpling and pan-fried pork bun are juicy with tasty fillings. Will go again, if not often.

We stopped by this little Shanghai restaurant for a quick dinner and were so pleasantly surprised! We ordered the noodles and wontons (云吞), and both were amazing — comforting, flavorful, and full of that true homemade taste. The noodles were perfectly chewy, tossed in just the right amount of savory sauce — not greasy at all. You can tell they make them fresh. The wontons were delicate, filled with juicy pork and shrimp, floating in a light but flavorful broth that felt like a warm hug.
